Choose what you need help with
You do not need to know what caused the problem. Start with the part of ViziCues you were using.
Did something suddenly change or stop working?
Check Updates & Known Issues first. We keep current problems, workarounds, recently resolved issues, and recent ViziCues release notes there.
Today & schedules
Starting, using, changing, and finishing the schedule you are using today.
What is Today?
Today is the schedule you are actively using right now. You can build a schedule, start from a template or Saved routine, then use Checklist, Focus, or First-Then depending on how much of the plan you want to see at once.
Using something in Today does not mean you have to save it for later. Today and your reusable Saved items are separate.
How do I put a template or Saved routine into Today?
Open the template or Saved routine you want and choose the option to use it for Today. ViziCues copies that plan into your active Today schedule so you can use and edit it for the day.
If I change Today, does it change the template or Saved routine I started from?
Treat Today as the working copy for the day. Changes you make while using Today are for that active schedule unless you deliberately choose to save a reusable routine/template from your work.
Will yesterday’s schedule automatically become today’s schedule?
ViziCues does not need to silently rebuild your day for you. When a previous schedule is available, the app can offer a choice to use that schedule again. You decide whether you want to reuse it.
Can I undo a completed activity or reset progress?
Yes. ViziCues includes Today checkoff controls along with undo/reset-progress tools so you can correct an accidental completion or start the schedule’s completion state over without rebuilding the schedule itself.
Templates & Saved routines
Reusable plans, starter templates, Saved limits, and the difference between saving and simply using something today.
What is the difference between a template and a Saved routine?
Templates give you a reusable starting point instead of building every schedule from scratch. Saved routines are plans you keep so you can use them again later.
The important distinction for everyday use is simple: using a plan today is not the same as saving a reusable copy.
Does using a template for Today use one of my Saved slots?
No. Simply choosing a template and using it for Today should not create a new Saved copy or use a Saved slot.
If you intentionally save a routine/template for later reuse, that saved item counts toward the Free saved-item limit.
How many routines or templates can I save with ViziCues Free?
ViziCues Free lets you keep up to 3 saved routines/templates. Apps Pro removes that saved-item limit.
The built-in starter template library is there to use as a starting point; simply using a starter template for Today does not fill a Saved slot.
Why does ViziCues say I have reached my Saved limit?
First check the items you have deliberately kept in Saved. ViziCues Free allows up to 3 saved routines/templates. You can remove a reusable item you no longer need, or Apps Pro provides unlimited saved routines and templates.
Building a schedule
Smart Builder, activities, favorites, custom activities, and editing your plan.
What does Smart Builder do?
Smart Builder helps you create a draft schedule faster. Use the suggestions as a starting point, then review and edit the schedule so it fits the actual day before you use it.
ViziCues Free includes up to 5 Smart Builds per week. Apps Pro includes unlimited Smart Builder use.
Can I add my own activities?
Yes. You can create reusable custom activities in My activities. ViziCues Free includes up to 5 reusable custom activities, and Apps Pro removes that limit.
You can also add a one-off custom activity directly to a schedule when you do not need to keep it as a reusable My activities item.
What are Favorites for?
Favorites make activities you use often easier to find when you are building or choosing parts of a schedule. They are useful for activities that come up repeatedly but do not need their own full saved routine.
Can I change the order of activities after I build the schedule?
Yes. A generated or reusable plan is still yours to adjust. Review the active schedule and reorder, add, remove, or edit activities as needed before or while using it.
Checklist, Focus & First-Then
Different ways to use the plan depending on how much you want to see at once.
What is Checklist?
Checklist shows the active plan as a list you can work through and check off. It is the most complete view of the Today schedule and is useful when you want to see the whole sequence.
What is Focus?
Focus narrows the schedule so the immediate part of the plan is easier to see. It is useful when the full list feels like too much information at once.
What is First-Then?
First-Then gives you a simple two-step view: what comes first and what comes next. You can choose two activities for a First-Then board when a smaller visual sequence is more useful than the full schedule.
Do I need to make separate schedules for Checklist, Focus, and First-Then?
No. These are different ways to work with the schedule. You do not need to save duplicate routines just because you want to switch from a fuller Checklist view to a simpler Focus or First-Then view.
Does ViziCues include a timer?
Yes. The core ViziCues workflow includes a basic visual timer that can be used alongside the schedule when seeing time pass is helpful.
Pictures & appearance
Activity visuals, custom activities, and changing how a schedule is presented.
Can I change how the activities look?
Yes. ViziCues includes visual appearance controls so you can choose a presentation that works better for the person using the schedule. Changing the appearance changes how activities are shown; it does not turn the schedule into a different routine.
Can I create an activity that is not already in ViziCues?
Yes. Use a custom activity when the built-in activity choices do not match what you need. You can keep frequently used custom activities in My activities, or add a one-off custom activity directly to a schedule.
Why might an activity picture look different after a ViziCues update?
ViziCues may improve or refine its visual library over time. The activity name and schedule meaning should remain the important part. If a visual looks incorrect, unclear, or mismatched to the activity, please report it.
Backup & moving to a new device
Protecting your saved ViziCues work and bringing it with you.
Do I need Apps Pro to make a ViziCues backup?
No. Manual backup export and import are included with ViziCues Free. Apps Pro adds conveniences such as backup reminders and local restore-point history.
How do I move my ViziCues schedules to a new phone, tablet, or browser?
- On the device or browser that still has your ViziCues work, create a fresh ViziCues backup.
- Keep the backup file somewhere you can access from the new device.
- Open ViziCues on the new device or browser.
- Use ViziCues Import/Restore to bring in the backup and follow the confirmation shown in the app.
- If you use Apps Pro, restore your paid access separately if it is not already recognized.
Does restoring Apps Pro restore my schedules too?
No. These are two separate things.
- Restore Apps Pro reconnects your paid feature access.
- Import a ViziCues backup restores saved ViziCues app data from a backup file.
Restoring a purchase cannot recreate local schedules that were deleted if you do not have a backup of them.
What should I do before deleting the app or clearing browser data?
If ViziCues still opens and you want to keep your saved work, make a fresh backup first.
Why don’t my schedules automatically appear on another device?
ViziCues is designed to keep core routine data on the device/browser you use rather than requiring a cloud account for normal use. That means another phone, tablet, or browser can have its own separate ViziCues data.
Use a ViziCues backup when you want to move saved work from one device/browser to another.

I already have Apps Pro. Why does ViziCues say Free?
Make sure the device is online, then open the Apps Pro area in ViziCues and use Restore Access. Follow the verification/recovery steps shown in the app.
If access still does not return, check Updates & Known Issues and then contact support with the exact message ViziCues shows.
Does one Apps Pro purchase cover ViziCues, SensyCues, and Reset?
Yes. SensoryGift Apps Pro is the shared paid upgrade for ViziCues, SensyCues, and Reset. Each app unlocks features that make sense for that app.
What happens to my ViziCues work if Apps Pro ends?
Your saved work is not supposed to be deleted just because Apps Pro is no longer active. ViziCues returns to its Free limits, and items above those limits may become unavailable for editing or adding until Pro is active again or you reduce your saved content to the Free limits.
Installing & using ViziCues offline
Home Screen installation, offline use, and opening the app after an update.
Do I have to install ViziCues?
No. You can use ViziCues in a supported browser. Installing it or adding it to your Home Screen gives it a more app-like launch experience.
How do I add ViziCues to my Home Screen?
Open ViziCues in your browser and use the browser’s install or Add to Home Screen option.
- iPhone/iPad Safari: use the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen.
- Other supported browsers/devices: look for Install app or Add to Home Screen in the browser menu.
Can ViziCues work without internet?
ViziCues can work offline after its core app files have loaded successfully while you are online. If you just installed or updated ViziCues, open it successfully online before relying on it offline.
Some things still need an internet connection, including Apps Pro purchase/restore checks and links that open website pages.
ViziCues is stuck on an updating or startup screen. What should I do?
- Make sure you have an internet connection.
- Close the ViziCues tab or installed app completely.
- Open ViziCues again.
- If it still does not open, check Updates & Known Issues.
Troubleshooting
What to try when ViziCues is not behaving the way you expect.
I used a template for Today and another copy appeared in Saved
That was a recently resolved ViziCues issue. Current production behavior should let you use a template for Today without automatically creating a Saved copy.
- Close ViziCues and reopen it while online.
- Check Updates & Known Issues for the latest ViziCues release information.
- If a new copy still appears when you only choose Use for Today, report the problem.
My Saved limit looks wrong
ViziCues Free allows up to 3 saved routines/templates. Your active Today schedule should not use a Saved slot simply because it is active today.
If the number still does not make sense after checking the reusable items in Saved, reopen ViziCues while online and check the current issues page.
My schedules or custom activities seem to be missing
First check whether you are using the same device, browser, and ViziCues profile where the work was created.
ViziCues core data is stored on the device/browser you use, so opening a different browser or device does not automatically bring the same saved work with it. If you moved devices, import your most recent ViziCues backup.
A button does nothing or ViziCues suddenly behaves differently
- Close ViziCues and reopen it.
- If possible, reopen it while online.
- Check Updates & Known Issues to see whether the problem is already listed.
- If it continues, report the exact button or action that failed.
Print, save image, or sharing is not working
These features can depend partly on the browser and device. Try the ViziCues option again while online, and make sure your browser is allowed to open the print or share interface.
If one output method is unavailable, try another: for example, Print/PDF instead of Share, or Save image instead of Print. If all output methods fail, report the device/browser and which option you tried.
I found an accessibility problem
Please report it through the same ViziCues support route. Useful details include what you were trying to do and whether the problem involved VoiceOver/screen-reader labels, keyboard access, focus, text size, contrast, motion, orientation, or another accessibility need.
Privacy & your ViziCues data
Where your schedules are kept and what that means for backups and Apps Pro.
Do I need an account to use ViziCues?
No account is required for the core ViziCues Free experience. Apps Pro purchase and restore use separate access verification, but that is not the same as turning your ViziCues schedules into a cloud account.
Where are my ViziCues schedules stored?
ViziCues is designed so core routine data stays in the device/browser where you use the app unless you choose to export, import, share, or back it up.
That is why making a backup matters before clearing browser/app data or moving to another device.
Does Apps Pro access include my schedule content?
Apps Pro access checks are separate from your ViziCues routine content. Restoring paid access does not upload or recreate the schedules stored in your ViziCues app data.
What should I include in a support report?
The most useful report includes:
- what you were trying to do;
- what happened instead;
- whether you were using ViziCues in a browser tab or as an installed/Home Screen app;
- your device and browser, if you know them;
- the exact error message, if one appeared; and
- a screenshot when it is useful and safe to share.
