Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
SensoryGift respects your privacy and aims to explain clearly what information may be collected when you use sensorygift.com, SensoryGift apps, digital products, forms, email updates, and related services that link to this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to the SensoryGift website, including related pages, app pages, contact forms, email signups, downloads, checkout links, and SensoryGift apps that link to this policy, including Reset, ViziCues, and SensyCues.
By using SensoryGift, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Important privacy note for app users
SensoryGift apps are designed to be low-demand, privacy-conscious support tools. Core app use does not require a SensoryGift account. Many app features are designed to store information locally on your own device or browser rather than in a SensoryGift account.
Please do not enter sensitive medical, diagnosis, school, therapy, emergency, legal, child/client, or highly private personal details into app fields, contact forms, support requests, backups, or emails unless you understand the risk and choose to do so. SensoryGift apps are intended for everyday support, planning, communication, and regulation tools. They are not medical care, mental health care, occupational therapy, emergency support, legal advice, school compliance advice, or a substitute for professional guidance.
What this policy covers
This policy explains:
- what information may be collected through the website, apps, forms, purchases, emails, and related services
- how information may be used
- how SensoryGift apps may store information locally on your device
- how backups, imports, exports, and cross-app handoffs may work
- when information may be shared with service providers
- what choices may be available to you
If a specific tool, app, form, payment flow, download, or subscription experience includes its own additional notice, that more specific notice may also apply.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use SensoryGift, we may collect the following types of information.
Information you choose to provide
- Your name and email address when you contact us, submit a form, ask for support, or sign up for newsletters or email updates
- Any information you choose to include in a message, form submission, support request, or email inquiry
- Purchase-related information you provide when buying a digital product, subscription, or app upgrade through a checkout provider
- Information needed to respond to refund, restore, subscription, download, or support requests
Information collected automatically
- Basic site usage information, such as pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and general site activity
- Device and browser information, such as browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location, and IP address
- Analytics and click-tracking data collected through tools used to understand site usage, content performance, and clicks on certain links
- Affiliate link tracking information when you click certain affiliate links or make a purchase through them
- Basic technical information used for security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and site operation
Information stored locally by SensoryGift apps
SensoryGift apps may save certain information in your browser or on your device so the app can work without requiring an account. This may include app preferences, language settings, accessibility or comfort settings, saved routines, favorites, reset cards, scripts, timers, support choices, local app history, outcome notes, or other app-created content depending on which app features you use.
Local app data may be stored using browser-based storage such as localStorage, IndexedDB, cache storage, or similar technologies. This data is generally tied to the device and browser you used. It may be deleted if you clear browser data, change browsers, use private browsing, uninstall the app, clear site storage, reset the app, or use delete controls inside the app.
Because local app data lives on your device or browser, SensoryGift may not be able to recover it if it is deleted, lost, or cleared from your browser.
SensoryGift apps
Reset
Reset is a low-demand support app for hard moments, tiny steps, scripts, reset cards, body checks, timers, support pages, and related tools. Reset may store preferences, saved or favorited items, custom tiny steps, custom scripts, reset page choices, print settings, and other local app information on your device or browser when you choose to use those features.
ViziCues
ViziCues is a visual schedule and routine support app. ViziCues may store local routines, activities, templates, visual schedule settings, profile-related app settings, saved routines, export settings, and other local app information on your device or browser when you choose to use those features.
SensyCues
SensyCues is a sensory support and outcome-tracking app. SensyCues may store local support preferences, support choices, plans, outcome logs, favorites, settings, and related app information on your device or browser when you choose to use those features.
Separate app storage
Reset, ViziCues, and SensyCues may each keep their own local app data. Deleting data in one app may not automatically delete data in another app unless the app specifically says it will.
Backups, exports, imports, and deletion
Some SensoryGift apps may let you export a backup file, import a backup file, print a support page, share an image or page, or delete local app data.
- Export: An export or backup file is created for you to save, move, or store. Once you download or share that file, you are responsible for where it goes and who can access it.
- Import: An import feature reads a file you choose and may add or replace local app data depending on the app feature.
- Print or share: Printed or shared app pages may include the choices or text you entered. Review before printing, saving, or sharing.
- Delete: App delete controls generally affect data stored in that specific browser or device. They may not delete emails you sent, files you downloaded, printed pages, payment records held by a payment provider, analytics records, or messages already submitted through a form.
Do not include private medical, diagnosis, school, therapy, emergency, legal, child/client, or highly sensitive personal details in backups, exports, printable pages, shared files, or support requests unless you choose to take that risk.
Cross-app handoffs
SensoryGift apps may offer optional handoffs between Reset, ViziCues, and SensyCues. For example, one app may open another app when a visual routine, sensory support, or reset tool may be helpful.
Cross-app handoffs are designed to be review-first. This means an app may open another app with limited, low-detail context so you can review what to do next. Handoffs should not automatically save, log, publish, diagnose, or add something to another app without a review step or user action.
Handoff links may include simple context such as the app that opened the link, a general support type, a safe support identifier, a route, or a mode. Handoff links should not include payment secrets, license tokens, full private notes, diagnosis details, child/client names, school records, medical records, therapy records, or emergency information.
If you choose to continue in another app, that app may store its own local app data according to the features you use there.
Apps Pro, purchases, and restore
SensoryGift may offer paid digital downloads, subscriptions, or Apps Pro features. Purchases may be processed through Stripe or another checkout, payment, subscription, or digital delivery provider.
SensoryGift does not store full payment card details on its own servers. Payment details are processed by the payment provider according to that provider’s privacy and security practices.
If Apps Pro, purchase restore, or subscription status features are used, SensoryGift apps may store a limited, non-sensitive status summary on your device or browser, such as whether the app sees your status as free, pro, unknown, expired, or recently checked. The app should not store full payment card details, payment secrets, Stripe client secrets, restore tokens, or raw license keys in ordinary local app backups.
Purchase, refund, subscription, and restore records may be kept by payment providers, checkout providers, digital delivery providers, email systems, or SensoryGift records as reasonably needed to provide support, process transactions, comply with legal obligations, prevent misuse, and resolve disputes.
Cookies and similar technologies
SensoryGift may use cookies, browser storage, cache storage, pixels, analytics tags, or similar technologies. These may help operate the website and apps, remember preferences, enable app features, understand traffic, measure link clicks, improve content, protect the site, or support checkout and affiliate tracking.
Some third-party services, such as analytics providers, affiliate partners, embedded content, email tools, forms, payment providers, or checkout providers, may also use cookies or similar technologies according to their own privacy practices.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies or browser storage may affect some website or app features, including saved preferences, local app data, install behavior, offline behavior, checkout flows, or restore features.
How information may be used
SensoryGift may use collected information to:
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website and app experiences
- save local app preferences or app-created content on your device or browser when app features require it
- respond to messages, questions, support requests, refund requests, restore requests, and accessibility requests
- send newsletters, updates, or other communications you chose to receive
- understand how visitors use the site, which links are being clicked, and how content and pages are performing
- measure traffic, affiliate activity, checkout activity, and site effectiveness
- process purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and related transactions through payment or checkout providers
- provide, verify, or restore paid access when applicable
- protect the site, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, and enforce site terms
- comply with legal obligations
Analytics, affiliate links, and payments
SensoryGift may use Google analytics or tracking tools to better understand how the site is used, including visits, page activity, traffic sources, and clicks on certain links. This helps improve content, measure performance, and understand what is most useful to readers.
SensoryGift may also use affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link or make a purchase through one, a third party may track that activity so the site can receive credit or a commission. This does not usually increase the price you pay.
If you make a purchase through a Stripe-powered checkout or another payment provider, payment information is processed by that provider according to its own privacy and security practices.
Email communications
If you sign up for a newsletter, download delivery, product update, waitlist, or other email communication, SensoryGift may use your contact information to send those communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us.
Transactional or support-related emails, such as purchase receipts, download delivery, subscription notices, restore help, or direct support replies, may still be sent when needed to provide the service or respond to your request.
How information may be shared
SensoryGift does not sell your personal information for money. Information may be shared in limited circumstances such as the following:
- with service providers who help operate the website, apps, email communications, analytics, affiliate tracking, forms, payments, checkout, hosting, security, backups, or technical support
- with payment, checkout, subscription, or digital delivery providers when needed to process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, restore requests, or related transactions
- with analytics or affiliate providers when those services are used to measure traffic, clicks, referral activity, or content performance
- with email or form providers when you sign up, submit a form, request support, or communicate with SensoryGift
- when necessary to investigate misuse, protect rights and safety, troubleshoot security issues, or enforce policies
- when required by law, legal process, court order, or government request
- as part of a merger, sale, restructuring, transfer, or other change involving site assets or business operations
Some privacy laws may define certain analytics, advertising, affiliate, or tracking activities as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising even when no personal information is sold for money. If those laws apply, you may have choices described below or provided through site tools, browser settings, or contact requests.
Embedded content and third-party links
The site may contain links to third-party websites or embedded content such as videos, storefronts, checkout pages, forms, payment pages, maps, social media posts, affiliate links, or widgets. Interacting with those third parties may allow them to collect information about you. SensoryGift is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites or services.
Data retention
SensoryGift may keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to inquiries, provide support, maintain purchase or subscription records, process email subscriptions, improve the site, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Local app data stored in your browser or on your device may remain there until you delete it, clear browser storage, uninstall or reset the app, use an app delete feature, or until the browser or device removes it.
Your choices
Depending on how you use SensoryGift, you may be able to:
- unsubscribe from newsletters or marketing emails
- disable or limit cookies through your browser settings
- clear browser storage or site data to remove some local app data from your device
- use app delete controls where available to delete local app data for that app
- choose not to enter optional information into app fields, forms, notes, backups, or support requests
- review files, printouts, exports, and shared pages before saving or sending them
- contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided, subject to applicable law and reasonable verification
Some choices may affect app functionality. For example, clearing browser storage may remove saved routines, favorites, settings, backups stored only in the browser, app install state, or offline cache data.
California privacy rights
California residents may have additional privacy rights under California law. Depending on which laws apply and applicable eligibility thresholds, these rights may include the right to know certain information about personal information collected, used, disclosed, sold, or shared; the right to request deletion; the right to request correction; the right to opt out of certain sales or sharing; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising applicable privacy rights.
If you are a California resident and would like to make a privacy-related request, please contact SensoryGift using the contact information below and include enough detail for us to understand, verify, and respond to your request.
Children’s privacy
SensoryGift is intended for a general audience and for use by adults, parents, caregivers, educators, therapists, and other support people. SensoryGift is not directed to children under 13, and core app use should be supervised by an appropriate adult when used with children.
SensoryGift does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate notice and consent where required by law. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the website, a form, an email, or another service, please contact us so the information can be reviewed and, if appropriate, deleted.
Please do not submit sensitive child/client details, diagnosis information, school records, therapy records, medical records, emergency information, or other highly private information through SensoryGift forms, app text fields, backups, exports, or emails unless you understand the risk and choose to do so.
Data security
SensoryGift uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Because some app information may be stored locally on your own device or browser, you are responsible for keeping your device, browser, downloads, backups, printed pages, and shared files secure.
International visitors
If you visit the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate. By using the site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws from those in your location.
Changes to this policy
SensoryGift may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the website, app features, legal requirements, purchases, subscription features, or privacy practices. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the site or apps after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
